Default Pic a bagel

There is definitly more then one pick-a-bagel but the one i know is located on 23rd and 3rd avenue. They used to have Much better bagels but now they are still good but not the best bagels out there. This place changed hands a few months ago. Apparently, the former owners took the really Good bagel maker with them. Right now their bagels are only a notch or two above what you can get at Dunkin Donuts, which is not saying very much at all. In short, they went from great bagels to somewhere in the middle of the mediocrity scale. And the rest of their stuff is the same old deli junk made somewhere offsite for typically inflated Manhattan prices.

just for the record i no longer go to pic-a-bagel as they increased their prices drastically and never gave official notice.

last time i was there i bought a plain bagel which generally costs about 3 bucks (w/ cream cheese) and they charged me just under 6 bucks. on the menu it was still listed as 2.95!!! WTF is up w/ that?

dont go there you'll get ripped off!
