Default Sarah Palin thread

There has been no talk of Alaska governor Sarah Palin. I just wanted to share my thoughts on her. I think between all 4 possible Presidents and VP's, she is my favorite. I actually believe she will help McCain win this election. Obama and Biden probably dont stand a chance now that Palin has entered the picture. She seems like the real deal and is the only one who REALLY wants CHANGE!

How can anyone hate her? She has this swagger about her (and obvious beauty) that can be felt through any TV set. Her son is being deployed to Iraq, which is why late last night she arrived back to Alaska for the first time since she accepted her nomination as VP. I think she is a strong person that wants to better this country and it would be hard to now go against the McCain Palin vote.

The Republicans have set the bar so low for any Palin performance that they think Gov. Palin did a fine job in her interview. The truth is that the Republican bar has been set so low by President George Bush, that they think McCain-Palin is a good choice. As a nation we should not strive to just clear the low bars, but should aspire to transcend even the highest ones. Sarah Palin may be a good governor and mother, but it is an insult to the high ideals that America stands for to even suggest that she would make a good Vice President. The very fact that she is not available to the media only amplifies her lack of qualification and readiness for the Vice Presidency. She obviously doesn't talk to the media because she can't handle it. What kind of leader is that? As Vice President, or President if something happens to McCain, she should always be accessible to the media and the public for comment. We deserve more from a leader than a hope that her on the job training will be adequate.
i found this quote on huffington but what i bolded goes for Obama as well. He consistently ignores the media and steps away from questions. His wife (whom i have absolutely NO respect for) who was quoted as saying, " I can finally say I am proud to be an American" to the media and then gets criticized for it gets Obama angry. What was Obama's response? "Leave my wife out of it!" Of course this is something he would say - let her be critical of this country (although she attended TOP AMERICAN UNIVERSITIES) and then not be ridiculed for such a stupid statement!

Hrmmmm, Obama Experience (lack there of) vs Palin's (outweighs Obama's)... I think the polls will answer this one.. And the coolest thing.. YOU ALL ARE WORRIED ABOUT HER!!! She's our VP pick.. I can't wait for the Debates.. McCain will have Obama easily.. And Biden is already wishing Hillary was in his shoes.. HA!

I love that it's now all over the internet that ABC's Charles Gibson doesn't know what the Bush doctrine is. In the interview, he referred to an out-dated version of the doctrine. Apparently there are various versions and Gibson didn't do his homework. I love when the hunter gets captured by the game. Score Sarah Palin a win on this one.
