Love how the Denver Bronco reporters are getting in on the Favre issue. what does this jackass know! he is making a pretty dumb assumption based on our team, that he probably knows very little about. i cant wait till Favre spanks the Broncos and throws 4 TD's against that garbage team.

there are lot more to that article then you posted. the article from the Denver Post goes on to discuss why the Jets got Favre - it was a publicity stunt to share some of the press with the Super Bowl champion NY Giants. Then he tries to prove his point by saying that the Jets website and sales of Favre jerseys has set record highs.

i still disagree with the reporter, I believe brett is here to try and prove to the NFL fans that he still has some play and arm strength to compete at a high level. Granted when a player of his caliber comes to NYC, obviously you are going to get the attention and publicity of meeting the mayor and all that other fun stuff. But (in my opinion) I believe Brett would rather have been throwing passes to his new receivers then meeting the mayor. Brett seems like a cool guy that really loves the game of football!
