What city is better? I am curious to know a couple of things and dont be biased just because this is a new york forum.

1 - which place is better to live?
2 - what city would you say has better night life?
3 - in terms of people whom would you say are friendlier ny or la folk
4 - transportation and traffic
5 - entertainment and the arts (museums, shows, & movies)
6 - general scenery
7 - economy, job availability
8 - crime
9 - And anything else anyone can come up with

wow - good idea new york vs. la - east vs. west

1 - i would say ny is better to live because of numbers 2 and 7 .... nyc is the city that doesnt sleep and i think the economy here is better and more opportunity for job placement

2 - i answered in number 1

3 - this one is tough - i would say LA folk are nicer but they are also very fake. Some non - la people would say that LA'ers have their heads on cloud 9 - i think their heads are on cloud 100! But NYers are mean and tough! They are like nyc - very impatient and face paced!

4 - traffic - LA has worse traffic - not to say ny doesnt have bad traffic it does! but LA has a pollution problem because of their traffic. i would say nyc has a better transportation system - NYC wins here!

5 - NYC wins here - LA has no chance to compete against broadway and times square's theatre district!

6 - I think nyc has a better scenery. Its more unique.

7 - i answered in number 1.

8 - this one i am unsure both cities have their safe and unsafe neighborhoods ... im gonna draw this one at a tie.
