Nj Transit trains from New York Penn Station to the Newark Airport station. The Newark airport station has a tram that leads you out to the terminals. Nj transit trains leave about every 15mins and cost is only around 12$.

There are other ways as well, but this is by far the easiet and its not even worth messing around with busses. Of course you could always take a taxi but that gets expensive.

i dont think there is actually a "Newark Airport" train station for nj transit. there are 2 stops that nj transit makes in newark - broad st. and penn station (not to be confused with penn station - nyc). Ask a nj transit employee in new york penn station which newark stop to get off at. Then you can take the monorail to newark airport!

Once you get to the Port Authority in NYC, either walk the 9 blocks down 8th Ave (its not a bad walk at all), or take the A,C,E,1,2 or 3 train downtown one stop to Penn Station.

At Penn Station, purchase a ticket on New Jersey Transit for Newark International Airport. The only two lines that go there are the Northeast Corridor and North Jersey Coast Line Trains (bound for Trenton, Jersey Ave, Long Branch and Bay Head). Look at the monitors for any one of the destinations that say EWR next to it. Once the track is announced, board the train, and the airport is the stop right after Newark Penn (either the second of third stop depending if the train stopped in Secaucus or not)

My friend, for get the bus, you're in Boston and you need to get the Newark International Airport by 9pm. The fastest way to get there will be taking Amtrak.

Amtrak's Regional service stops at Newark International Aiport station. From the train station you can take the Newark Monorail to the terminals. The fare on the Amtrak is $90 and on the Newark Monorail to the airport terminals is $5.
