I do believe the Baggot Inn will be closing its doors soon. I used to enjoy the bluegrass wednesday nights there. I havent been there in a while but decided to pay tribute one last time just in case I cant make it again. I dont know exactly when they are closing but thats the rumor around town.

Anyone else got more specific details?

This bar is officially CLOSING this week and they have stopped all customer service too. DO NOT GO! I went there to see a some bands recently and was shocked by the drunk, mean and insulting bartenders who refused to serve drinks (at a bar?). My friends and I had to leave after being cussed out by them (there was no provocation). Not a good idea to insult a bunch of attractive girls if you are a bar. The waitress apparently quit so there was no wait staff either. It's the same owner as Dempsey's Pub and Slainte Bar & Lounge - not ever going there either. What happened to Irish hospitality? I look forward to publishing my next review on these bars. Can you say ZERO rating!?

i just researched this and found out that tonite and tommorow night are the last live shows at the baggot inn.
