Not actually rumored but just wanted to get your guys thoughts. KnicksFan4Years brought it up in another thread.
So I checked out both rosters. The Warriors BTW don't have a bad contract on their books lol. Al Harrington for 8 mil might be the worst one and I'd take that in a heartbeat. Anyway, I believe Pietrus can terminate his contract so we could do a sign and trade where we give them: Knicks Send: Zach Randolph Renaldo Balkman Warriors Send: Al Harrington Mikael Pietrus Let's face it they look like they're not going to make the playoffs and probably need a little shakeup. They would get a legit low post player on offense who would benefit greatly from having a downlow defender in Biedrins paired with him. Baron/Monta/Sjax/Zach/Biedrins is pretty balanced. Balkman could add some energy and defense that seems to appear at times. Meanwhile for us it's a no brainer because we can finally start Lee (which would open up the paint and maybe rejuvenate Curry on the offensive end at least) and Harrington can play the 3 for us. Plus we get rid of Zach and guess when Harrington expires!! Two questions: 1. What do you guys think of the trade? 2. Do you think there is anyway the Warriors would consider a deal like that? |

ya that would be an awesome trade but the Warriors wont go for it .... they are fast up and down the court team ... Randolph slows them down
i know golden state has to do something since they missed the playoffs and i see them going for a faster player then Randolph .... and they are keeping Al Harrington |
