Default NY Law Firms & how the market looks

I am wondering if there are any lawyers visiting this forum that can lend an insight into the New York legal market for recent law school grads. I realize that the market does not look good at all. Nevertheless, one has to think that odds of employment rise after passing the bar, right?

Also, what do salaries look like in small- to mid-sized firms practicing bankruptcy and commercial law?

salaries in small to mid sized firms - my guess is between 60 and 80 ??

vault.com ranks law firms. some of the best in nyc are cadwaller, cravath, cahill and debevoise. you better be one dynamite attorney to work there.

Well just by looking at careerbuilder. I see a lot of 150k offers for 5 years of experience. But at the same time 200k + for 5+ years experience.
As for entry level or recent grad you should check your law schools career center. Most entry level lawyers get recruited I'd suppose
