cheapest flights in and out of nyc.....
which of the three major airports is GENERALLY cheaper to fly in and out from??? need to escape the city for a weekend and wondering which airport has cheapest flighs leaving on a thursday or friday and returning on a sunday....

i believe the cheapest flights out of nyc are from La Guardia. JFK and Newark have a lot of air traffic and have more destinations to choose from, so if you can find a flight in and out of La Guardia, I would bet they would have cheaper rates. But you should still double check, not 100% sure on that. Just a guess.
