It's not the end of the world, but I do agree that it is a somewhat pressing issue. That's a lot of points to be "made up" ("made up" seems weird, considering that we're ahead of them, but still...). Even if we had won 2-3 games against NYI/NYR combined we'd be in a much better spot. But still, we seem to do best in the period about 20 games from now, when most teams (that aren't built to be constant playoff teams) are fading and getting the clubs out.

Thats exactly what i was trying to say. I dont care that they beat the devils but the rangers/islanders are winning EVERY SINGLE GAME! At this point we played the islanders 5 times and i believe we played the rangers either 3 or 4 (im not 100% sure) thats at least 8 games between the 2 teams and we have 3 points to show for it. Even one win against each team giving us 4 more points in the standings could be crucial come seasons end in determining playoff spots.

After losing last night to the New York Rangers the Devils are now 0-10 I believe to both the New York Islanders and New York Rangers, collectively

i just hope we dont have to play either the ny rangers or islanders in the playoffs

the Devils looked good last night against the rangers so i gotta give them credit ... they just couldnt score against lundquist
