The new jersey devils won 6-1 with Jay Pandolpho scoring 3 goals for a hat trick. The NJ Devils for the first time this season played a dominated game from start to finish. I thought the switch that Sutter made with putting Zubrus on Pandolpho & Maddens line was the key to the game. Zubrus had a gorgeous (SWEET) no look pass from behind the net to Madden which started to goal scoring. From there on out that line continued to attack. It was very refreshing to know that the NJ Devils finally have a line that should be kept together.
I also didnt mind the extra defensemen with certain players being double shifted, mostly Elias, Parise, and Gionta. |

With the NJ Devils 6-1 win last night over Tampa Bay, Marty Broduer has 497 career total wins. Meaning he is 3 away from the milestone 500! Thats unreal. Hopefully the NJ Devils built some confidence from yesterdays win and Marty will get magical number 500 very soon! I cant wait!
