Default Sutter drops Zubrus to third line

Zubrus will play tonite against Tampa Bay but not with his usual line mates. He will be on a 'checking' line with Pandolfo and Madden (usually considered the 'checking' line). Parise who scored 31 goals last season and scored most of those on a line with Zajac will be reunited with Brian Gionta on the wing. Elias will play with Brylin and David Clarkson. Hopefully Brent Sutter will find the magic touch and stick with it.

The Devils need to get on a winning streak badly. Tampa Bay took the first meeting between the two teams but tonite the NJ Devils play their second home game at the Prudential Center in Newark. Lets see if they can get their first win at home there.

Default Re: Sutter drops Zubrus to third line

This line which most people thought at first was a demotion for Zubrus has actually turned out to be the most productive line in the past two games. Zubrus now playing with madden and pandolpho has been helped this line on a tear. They are putting up points in every single game since they have been placed together. Good job to coach brent sutter for this match making.
