This place is located on 440 West 202nd street at 10th Avenue. Its a very loud and very dark hole in the wall place. You can barely see anything and the bouncer was a complete ****!! I would never go there again as this place was complete waste of time. I would rather be at home watching porn!

Haha i was just recently there and I ONLY went for the cultural Dominican experience. The drinks were very overpriced and watered down. And yes the bouncer was not too friendly. However if you want to see some craziness (dancing) then check it out as it is a riot. Umbrella Lounge was an ok experience but cant say i would go back. I would recommend going there once just for the culture.

if your looking for beautiful latino women then def go there but you may want to speak Spanish or Portuguese

or better yet go to the Umbrella Bar and Lounge website here. Check out the Galleries section. Tell me in some of the photos it doesnt look completely dark and over crowded.

i have been to umbrella bar and lounge a couple times...its not bad if your into the sweaty dancing crowded experience. it is quit a trip being that its all the way on 202nd street.

and yes it is quit the cultural dominican experience.

so i was just reading through this thread and i never actually went to the umbrella bar and lounge website BUT i did today and when i clicked on the gallery section ... there were some slamming chics ... i may have to make the track up there one day!
