Welcome to our site
To all you out there on the net, I would like to welcome you to our site. This is our first live version, so anyone out there with any suggestions, please let us know. We are very excited about LocalApple being an interactive guide for everything NYC. LocalApple is a team of two people consisting of Paul and Dani.

I dragged my friend Paul with me to my Search Engine Strategies convention and he decided he wants to get into this kinda stuff because he saw how much money can be made from DaniWeb. (For those of you who don't know, I run a site called www.daniweb.com) So I helped him start this forum and we're going to run it together.

Mission Statement: To be your source for everything Manhattan, both for tourists and locals. A life 'n' style type site for things to do in the city, entertainment, getting around, etc.

Yea I always told Dani how badly I wanted to start a forum and thankfully for the week long SES conference we were able to accomplish that. Hopefully this community will continue to grow into a powerhouse of information for everything NY.

could you guys include maps of different areas of the city for the out of towners who will be using your site. this would be an asset for us getting to know the city

That would really be an interesting idea. If you could get people to actually see where certain things are located. It would help out people like me who actually have a really good sense of direction.
