Mats Sundin broke the Toronto Maple Leafs two biggest scoring records and took all three stars of the game. I cant remember the last time a player had all three of the stars in a game.
Sundin scored his 390th goal for his 917th point to break ties with Darryl Sittler for club records in both categories, and the Maple Leafs beat the New York Islanders 8-1 on Thursday night. This was a bad game for the new york islanders. The problems that were there last night against the ny rangers were horrific tonight. the only real exception? the isles were winning last night. bad passing, bad D, bad passing, bad offense, bad passing, bad chemistry. we need to get our **** together! |

yea the islanders were spanked hard. The chemistry was just NOT there. Also starting new york islanders goalie rick dipierto was not in net. Dubi got the start in net and DEF let in some softies but still the offensive struggle had to do with lack of chemistry.
