by the way it was martin straka that had the last goal on maliks third assist. i almost feel bad for florida because they are just getting spanked now!

well the rangers started off their season strong with a commanding 5-2 victory over florida. The next new york rangers game will be against a better ottawa senators team who may be the only other team in the east to match new yorks offensive power.
