the 18 acre UN complex along the east river is designated international territory, outside of the jurisdiction of the city and the state (thoug you shouldnt hide out there in an attempt to hide from a parking violation). On the tour you'll see the chambers of the Security Council and the General Assembly Hall, as well as special exhibits and a collection of art and artifacts from member nations. Also send a postcard from the United Nations post office, with a special United Nations stamp from its land of origin.
