GRAYZ Grand Opening Monday - LocalApple

Located on 15 West 54th Street, Greyz Chef, Gray Kunz is trying not to disclose the menu. This restaurant will be open for lunch & private parties, I assume!! You can check out more about Greyz here.

this place was formerly the Aquavit ... i think i was there once. City, do you know if they moved the location cause they had really good european style foods.

Yea they are still open (I believe) Check the Aquavit website. Instead of 54th street, I guess now they are on 55th.

Try the lobster roll when you go there....its amazing! And they are kinda hidden from the street but look for like a purple awning. Also bring lots of cash, I would only recommend this place for a special occasion, and for desert have the goat cheese with the blueberry sorbet. VERY GOOD!

Ok what about Grayz...whats on the menu here...does anyone know for sure? And why was there a year delay in the opening of this resaurant, that doesnt sound so promising to me.

If anyone wants to check out the menu for grayz you can go to menupages and also check out the reviews and and prices. It seems like the average plate or meal will cost around 30 bucks.

It actually looks really really nice in there....I'll def have to check it out.

I remember hearing rumors how the menu was kind of secretive or at least possibly different then that from menupages.com ... does anyone know what the food was like there ??

Wonderful!

Everything about the restaurant was really wonderful. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. Every dish was beautifully prepared and presented. Overall a definite gem.

I highly recommend this place!!
