So just wondering what everyones opinion is about which NHL tri state teams (NJ Devils, NY Rangers, NY Islanders) will have the best record at the end of the 2006/ 07 season..... My guess is
1) NJ Devils ~105 points 2) NY Rangers ~103 points 3) NY Islanders ~95 points |

well both the nj devils and ny rangers are down 0-1 in their respective series. Lets hope they can both come back. I for one would love to see a nj devils vs. ny rangers eastern conference finals appearance. That last happened back in 1994 when the NY Rangers won the Stanley Cup.
Any thoughts?? |

Well as it stands now the NY Rangers tied there series against Buffalo 2-2.
NJ Devils on the other hand lost last night 3-2 to Ottawa and now trail in their series 3-1. The Devils play Saturday night at home. Meanwhile the Rangers will head to Buffalo for their next game. So the eastern conference Finals could still be a NJ vs. NY series. I am still confident we can have that intense series. |

Seems like this year, the METRO Ice challenge has the NY Islanders leading in points amongst the three local teams: NY Rangers, NJ Devils, and Islanders. Ironically the Devils have the least amount of points in the METRO Ice Challenge, yet they are first in the entire eastern conference with 86 points!!

The New York Rangers havent lost in regulation time in what seems like eternity! Its gotta be close to a month since they last lost. They are right behind the Devils in the standings and there is still about 13 games remaining.
