NYC Rockefeller Christmas tree to be cut...
down in Connecticut today.
NEW YORK (AP) The Christmas tree that will be displayed at Rockefeller Center will be cut down today in Ridgefield, Connecticut. The 9-ton tree stands 88 feet and is 45 feet in diameter. The tree will be set on a 115-foot-long trailer and hauled to Manhattan on a flatbed truck. Workers will begin to erect the tree at Rockefeller Plaza Friday morning. Woohoo....the holidays are coming = more time off from work  |
