Default Farmers Market Union Square

Union Square Farmers Market was kicking and very alive this morning. I was strolling through the area with my friend and noticed all the pumpkins and autumn foods that one would normally look for in a shop right. My friend decided to buy plants for his garden level apartment in gramercy, and i just enjoyed the people watching and dogs. They had all these tents set up, and under each individual tent was either wine tasting, pumpkin shopping, plant shopping, vegtables, and even candles. It seemed it was primarily made up of food and plants. Hence the name FARMERS MARKET...i would recommend going there and checking it out if you have the time especially if the weather permits. There are great discounted prices on everything there which is another reason to check it out. Enjoy!

nycking there are

there are roughly about 30 individual locations in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Bronx, and Staten Island. Of these 30, 10 locations operate year-round. During peak season, over 100,000 customers visit the markets every week. Its no joke my friend!

The largest and most well known market is the Union Square Farmer's Market, which operates year-round and is open Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m.
