NYC Parking on 9th st. Manhattan - LocalApple

So Friday night I drove into the city and parked my car on the north side of 9th street between 2nd and 3rd avenues. I parked right across the street from a parking garage (which of course I am not willing to pay for). Anyways I was really really drunk and forgot to move my car Saturday morning. I eventually get to my car (at like 1pm) and it is LITERALLY the only car on the north side of the street. The sign read no parking from 7am to 7pm - so my car was there for 6 HOURS illegally and I didnt get a ticket ... HAHA SUCKASSS!
