Default LIC's Star Tower

Location: 28-02 42nd Road, Long Island City
Size: 180 one- to three-bedroom units
Prices: $425,000 to $1 million +
Architect: Israel Peles
Developer: Roe Development

Long Island City's Star Tower will be LIC's tallest residential condo when it's done in winter 2009. The building will boast "unparalleled views of the Manhattan skyline" and "white-glove service" among other "lavish hotel-quality" amenities. Roe Development was also behind Long Island City's Fusion

"For instance, there will be a SkyDeck, which is a 2,700-square-foot rooftop (LIC's biggest) with a pool (!!!), cabanas and daybed. The SkyLounge will be a 1,000-square-foot club room with kitchen, wet bar and entertainment area. Back downstairs, there's a 7,500-square-foot mezzanine-level Great Lawn for meditative LIC moments. Did we mention the "exquisite indoor waterfall Jacuzzi" that "will provide relaxation with views overlooking the great lawn"? The outdoor grilling station? The inhouse valet parking?" - Curbed.com
