Not that this is anywhere near New York City but for those tourists and locals who have never been I strongly recommend the trip out there. I prefer the Canadian side of the Niagara River. Either way its worth actually viewing as its not just about the view which you could see on tv, but about the smell and feel. The waterfall is so powerful that the mist is generated back up into the air that you can feel it sprinkle (perfect for a hot sunny day).
Also if you can take the boat tour, I believe its call Maid of the Mist. The one downside is if you drive it, its a solid 8 hour trip from nyc. |

yea if anyone has the time to go from nyc to niagara falls its 110% worth the trip
according to zme science its 1 of the 4 most spectacular waterfalls in the world No joke rent a car and take the drive or train it. |
