Winter Winds
My good friend lives over on Riverside Boulevard by the Rushmore and the Avery and the winds this past weekend were truly insane. Public garbage cans and newspaper stands were knocked over on each block. Garbage that was left out for pickup was literally flying down the avenues as the winds would just not let up.
As I walked on freedom place, between riverside and west end avenues the winds felt like I was being punched in the face. Anyone else experience these nasty winds?
BTW the streets (not avenues) were worse as the buildings caused wind tunnels to form. It was pretty intense for anyone else who was around over the weekend.
