Default best times to travel on NYC subway

The best times to travel on the NYC subway and not feel like your sandwiches between 2 strangers is generally after 930am till about 4pm. If you need to stay late at work then travel the subway after 630pm and before 11 or midnight. Again this post is for those with flexible work schedules and are not corporate slaves to the 9 to 5.

You are completely right but corporate slaves do not have the option. The reason the subway cars are packed is because of all the pple that need to be at their desk by 9am and want to leave at 5pm on the dot. The packed subway commute becomes part of your lifestyle living here.

It may not be comfortable for someone who is starting their first day on the job but you get used to it.
