great article on "how to take a NYC bus"
check out this article on the travelers notebook regarding how to take a new york city bus.
i agree with the author ... taking a bus is not easy even for people living here in NYC so I can imagine it would be very difficult for any tourist or visitor. |

and by the way the opening of the back door has worked for me a couple times ... the driver sometimes forgets to close the back door and thats when a true NY'er takes advantage of the free ride
