I actually thought Italy would win but I wasnt expecting a shootout. I wish I posted my thoughts prior to the game. But I was hoping Italy would win and am glad they did.

I watched the world cup game on sunday and thought it was a great game. I was not really cheering any one way. I was kinda shocked the captain of France (ZZ as i call him) head butted that guy so hard in the chest. But who knows what the Italian player said to him. I was in little italy and the parties started early in lower manhattan.
I saw an article about how more cities will be building stadiums just for special events like the world cup to generate revenue. Thought that was interesting, you can still read it if you have todays wall street journal. |

Yea zz is a retard. I cant believe he did that but i predicted the italians to win because i was cheering for them the entire way. Thank God they did win.... and yes the streets of manhattan were roudy.
