Today I was walking around Soho looking for a new pair of jeans. I was originally thinking of getting the typical Deisels or Sevens. As we stormed the area looking for jeans, my friend noticed a tailor sitting at the window of the store sewing jeans. The Turkish guy was working on a classical sewing machine made of gold. It was really cool and caught our eyes. I walked in and the ladies there were really friendly. They were helping me out, as I tried to decide what jeans to choose from. All the different styles were displayed on the wall and after I decided which ones I liked, the next thing I knew there were about 10 pairs of jeans waiting in the dressing room. After a few tries, I finally found the perfect fit. The lenght was long but the Turkish tailor had no problem fixing up my new pair of jeans on the spot. I went home and tried them on and was totally satisfied. So just to let you al know this is a great place for jeans, especially since you can try them on and have them customized to your need.
The store is located in Soho on 111 Greene Street. If you wish to call for any other details, the number is (212)680-0581. |
