NYC will be getting rid of all the individual meters for the muni meter where you can use a credit card to pay for parking instead of coins.
NYC will be making a lot of money ... why you ask? All the meters that are broken were taken advantage of and people would sometime be able to share a single meter space. Also how many of you parked at a meter and saw that the person before you left you an extra 15 minutes. All this will be prevented with the new electronic system. Sucks for you commuters .. sorry! |
