Default Crash Line II - not so fast says Bobby Holik

Quote:
The NHL's regular season hasn't even started and already Devils center Bobby Holik has heard from members of the media and fans eager to label his partnership with wingers Mike Rupp and Dainius Zubrus "Crash Line II."

He is not at all amused and doesn't care for the reference to the line he centered back in the mid-1990s with Randy McKay and Mike Peluso as his wingers.

"Crash Line II?"

"Absolutely not," Holik snapped. "You can't just make up names because you're bored or you're being creative. Before the 'Crash Line' got the name, it was two years of hard work."
This is why I respect Bobby Holik. I will be honest when he left the Devils to head to the NY Rangers I was pissed! But when I look back at his play with the Devils I do miss his physical presence. I always thought he worked out best with the Devils because of their team first philosophy. He was always in the right position to make a defensive play and was a big guy who could crash the boards on offense. I welcome Bobby back with open arms!

I wasn't a fan of the signing at first, but Bobby keeps on reminding me why I ****ing love him so much.

I just hope Bobby Holik at 37 can still be a physical force as well as score some goals on that 4th line.
