Went to Raouls last night and the food was just excellent. I had the Steak au Poivre with French Fries which was 37 dollars. The steak is very peppery but this is Raoul's signature dish. The cheapest thing on the menu was Torchio Pasta with Asian Broccoli and Grana Padano at 18 dollars. This actually looked very delicious. So for those on a budget I would order that. I had the Artichoke Vinaigrette with Quinoa, Roquette and Raoul’s Dressing which was 10 bucks and also very delicious.
The only downside of this place is that while eating the peppery steak I was constantly craving water and it was like pulling teeth for refills. One cool perk was being able to walk through the kitchen to be seated in the back. Its nice to be able to see them preparing food and get a sense for the sanitation of the restaurant. |
