Whats everyones favorite memory of Yankee stadium?
Even though I was not alive Reggie Jackson's arrival in 1977 was a difficult one as my grandfather told me the stories of Billy Martin. He was not a fan of Jackson, but that all changed when October rolled around and Reggie was named “Mr. October” bringing two championships back to New York. I still remember sitting in the right field seats and people would throw quarters at Reggie and he would just pick them up and put them in his pocket. Goodbye to “The House that Ruth Built” |

Sometime Sunday night, probably between 11:30 and midnight but possibly later, the final pitch will be thrown at Yankee Stadium.
The Yankees would like it to be thrown by Mariano Rivera in the top of the ninth inning to end a win against the Orioles. Hopefully, the Yankees will win tomorrow as to not disrespect the house that Ruth built. |

Good Bye Yankee Stadium as the greatest venue in sports will close its doors!
I saw a bunch of players with gatorade cups grabbing dirt from the pitchers mound of Yankee Stadium. The game has been over for at least 20 minutes now and no one has yet left. Luckily the Yankees win 7-3 over Baltimore. Babe Ruth hit the first home run at Yanke Stadium 85 years ago. |

Even if you are a NY Mets fan, I'd imagine its sad to see The Stadium go. It's going to be very weird not seeing the Yankees playing there anymore.

I was kind of surprised by Clemens' "absence."
I'm not sure how many Yankees won the Triple Crown but when it was said that Mantle was the last man to accomplish it, I guessed he was meaning "the last Yankee." |
