yea you shouldnt get a ticket if your sitting on your stoop, thats technically private property!

Bloomberg should have been given a ticket for drinking wine at the brooklyn bridge park, that is public alcohol consumption
the stoop of ones home (i agree) is private! |

i dont see how you could be given a ticket for drinking on a private stoop either but then again the cop must have needed to hand something out for a quota
