Summer Streets NYC - LocalApple

Jay Z helps kick off summer streets with mayor Bloomberg where miles of roadway will be car free. I believe its from the Brooklyn Bridge to about 70th street if i remember correctly. So for those of you who plan on driving around Saturday be careful to plan your route.

it was crazy how many people were walking dogs and biking in the middle of the street .. but this is very similar to the summer street fairs where they close off a few blocks ... i dont think commuters would get upset although this time it was for miles instead of just a few blocks
