Patrick Ewing recieved a standing ovation right after a video tribute to the center who will be a sure shot to enter the After all the turmoil the Knicks have been going through, its refreshing to remember the past and the good times the Knicks used to have. Heres to hopes of a promising future:

In my opinion the greatest player to ever wear a knicks jersey!
Despite never getting that NBA title! |

i agree every time he stepped onto the court you could tell how badly he wanted to win each game and that desire to win is dangerous ......
would be nice to see at least one knick player on the current team who had half that desire |

Patrick Ewing thinks Mark Jackson, the former knicks point guard should be coach of the knicks if Isaih steps down or is fired. Ewing would likely join Jackson in the coaching staff.
Interesting ... maybe the knicks would be better with their former star players?? |

they would def be if they brought their star players out of retirement then the joke of scrubs they have now.
trading the greatest player in franchise history for a bunch of overpaid scrubs is what led to the Knicks being the joke that they are today. it is truly a disgrace that Ewing is not involved with the Knicks, in some capacity, after years of openly campaigning for a job on the team. let's hope this all changes with Donnie Walsh congrats, Big Fella |

is patrick ewing upset over the fact that mike d'antoni is now the new head coach ... i feel like there is some bitterness in ewing who was never even given consideration.
