Default Billy's Antiques & Props

"We buy apartment contents" proclaims the sign on the front. Inside this dark, covered eyesore on Houston street, you'll find all sorts of unusual things, like old carnival games and science class style skeletons, along with second hand furniture and paintings.

76 East Houston St. between Elizabeth and the Bowery. Its on the North side of Houston.

i wouldnt consider it fashionable shopping but this place has been around for a long time or at least since i have been living in nyc. In my mind it makes up part of that lower manhattan culture. So this store is def relavant and there are actually some cool things in there although i have never actually bought anything there.

I did once see a cool painting of the Hannibal Lecter. I kinda wish i bought that!

honestly this place freaks me out. To me its nothing more then a junk and crap store. I wouldnt be surprised if the half the **** there dont even work. Forget the fact that its a waste of money, its a waste of time to walk underneath that tent or whatever it is they store all that old crap!!
