NY Rangers honor Brian Leetch - LocalApple

Last night the new york rangers honored defense man brian leetch. they retired his jersey to the rafters. On hand for the ceremony were Mark Messier and former goalie Mike Richter. The Rangers who were trailing most of the game 1-0 to the Atlanta Thrashers eventually found a way to tie the game. The NY Rangers won the game in a shoot out getting the 2 points they desperatley needed to stay in the playoff hunt.

Brian Leetch was the man - in my opinion the best american born defenseman to play the game!
