So whats everyone hear doing for new years eve? And since i am new to the city, should i go and do the whole times square event?

Dont do the times square thing. I think its over rated, all your gonna do is stand outside and freeze to death. I would check out if you can get into a bar or something. Its usually fun and they serve free champagne...well not really cause your gonna have to pay a cover of at least 50 bucks to get into any decent bar. That and the bars will be jam packed. But look for something low key, you may be surprised as to how much fun you can still have.
