Tonite the NJ Devils will look to make it 6 games going undefeated. They will be without Jay Pando who is a work horse forward defensive player and has surprisingly been on a tear scoring 8 goals so far this season. Hopefully the injury is just a bruise althoug it was noted that he had spasms in his pelvic area after hitting the boards hard.
The NJ Devils will play a very good Montreal team whose record is 13-8-3 with 29 points. |

The NJ Devils beat the Canadian Friday night 4-0. Marty earned career win 505 and recorded his 94th shut out all time. This tied him with George Hainsworth for 2nd all time in career shut outs. Marty Broduer usually loves to play against his hometown team Montreal. He always brings his A-game when playing against the Montreal Canadians.
Zach Parise had a GREAT night with 3 goals and an assist. He was spectacular. His first goal it looked as if there was fire on the back of his ice skates as he raised in on a breakaway and gave the Devils a 1-0 lead. The NJ Devils have won 6 in a row! |
