This is truly the best website if you dont know where your going in Manhattan or within the New York City area. You can also use this site of other cities but seriously this site gives you pretty accurate directions from one stop to another.

Yes this is a great site for nyc subway directions. Its exactly a mapquest for all new york city subway stops and stations. Its an excellent site and I use it all the time when I dont know where I am going.

I agree. HopStop has been extremely helpful for me, and I can get lost very easily since I'm not a native of the city.

I am a native of the city for years now and I LOVE this site as it always helps me with walking, subway, and even bus directions.

Not just for NYC - there are other US destinations like Boston and SF.

Discovering this site meant I could stop carrying around my little book of subway maps every darn day when I wasnt sure as to where in new york city i was going.

and its even better if you have an iphone bc then you get the image map as well as the written directions
