If you really want to impress someone take him or her to the Delegates Dining Room at the UN. Though its open to the public, reservations are required as this refined commissary feels elite, exclusive, cosmopolitan, and miles away from midtown Manhattan's midday madness. Well technically the UN is international terroritory. For $25 you can have an abundant lunch buffet, as well as a chance to meet some international superstars. As well you will have an amazing view of the east river as the walls there are floor to ceiling glass windows.

The food is really good at least i thought so. Oh and make sure your not in jeans or sneakers. There is also a sports blazer required for men. Lunch is usually served on weekdays from 1130am to 230pm. Also bring a photo ID (they are strict about this) and use the visitors entrance on 1st avenue at 46th street.

I would never eat at the UN. I hate the UN to begin with...they are a useless organization. I wouldnt even drop a penny on that complex. I am sure the 'international' food they serve is second class and disgusting.
