Default Battle of NY New York Jets @ New York Giants

So this sunday (obviously at Giants Stadium) the two New York teams will face off in a battle of New York. The New York Jets need to win MUCH more desperatley but the new york Giants have looked sharp as of late winning their last two games. The new york jets meanwhile are in a much tougher division as well as conference. Look for the Jets to shock the Giants. That is my prediction.....

I dont know City...I have a feeling the Giants defense is playing to well now for the new york jets offense to score any points. I dont think this will be as close with the new york Giants crushing the Jets at home. Dont get me wrong i dont think this will be a shut out but i see it being 30 - 10 or something like that.

the matchup im excited for is new york jets cornerback Darrel Revis against new york giants reciever plaxico burress. This is going to be interesting. Last week buffalo picked on revis a lot. I wonder if the new york giants film on the new york jets game last week is pointing for Eli Manning to have a field day against the rookie.

My prediction is Revis lines up against Burress but I dont believe revis will be as bad as last week. I think Revis has great skill and a great break on the ball. remember im sayin i think he will do better this week then last, that doesnt mean i dont think plaxico burress and the ny giants wont score touchdown in the air.

The battle of new york is now over and the new york Giants have the bragging rights to the area. The new york Giants who after the first half i thought for sure were going to lose this game came out very strong in the second half using Brandon Jacobs power running to wear out the NY Jets defense.

For the New York Jets, I believe their defense and special teams played an OUTSTANDING GAME!!! The problem with the NY Jets lies with the offense. On a day where even the offensive line played outstanding Chad Penningtons arm strength will come into question again. He made some horrible throws. Even the recievers played very well especially Laverneous Coles who made some OUTSTANDING receptions. The running game could never get going because everyone defense in the NFL knows Chad has no arm strength to throw down field hence other teams stack the line of scrimmage.

For the NY Giants, you were very happy to see Eli Manning step up and make key throws down field after a lousy first half. Also the running tandem of Brandon Jacobs and Ward was a great 1-2 punch. The Giants defense which recorded record setting stats last week against Philly didnt sack Chad Pennington once although they came very close. But the cornerbacks and safeties made the defense look good intercepting chad pennington 3 times. Ross brought one back for a touchdown to seal the game.

The final score 35-24. New York Giants.

yea aaron ross sealed the deal with the interception for a touchdown. The Giants look like they could be in for a good season with a weak schedule upcoming. I think this Giants team is really good especially on defense. They remain consisten defensivley and now just need to work on the offense. I believe with Brandon jacobs back in the line up the giants will be a very tough team to beat.

The Jets on the other hand look like they may be mathematically eliminated sooner then later the way they play. I fee bad for those new york jets fans because the torture they endure is painful. Having to watch your captain Quarterback play the way he is playing with NOOO arm strength is frustrating. he cant complete passes that Tom Brady and Peyton Manning would make look easy. Its unfortunate because is a leader on that team but a changing of the guards sorta speak may be needed. Kellen Clemons, in my opinion should be given the go ahead in the next game if the Jets are to save their season.
