The Platinum Building located on 825 8th Av at 50th street still has 1 and 2 bedroom apartments still available. I am not sure of prices but I know a lot of apartments have been sold there. It seems to be a great investment but be cautious as there may be more development in the area that could impede ones view. Also according to Curbed.com Rosie O'Donnel has purchased a 2 bedroom there.

i just drove past this builing yesterday and it looked like they were still doing work on the building. does anyone know if condo's are still available here?

I am not sure if there are condos available but while i was doing some research i gathered that this building took over the old Supreme Macaroni Company. Plans have been filed with the city to redevelop the Supreme Macaroni Company building at 511 Ninth Avenue between 38th and 39th Streets with a 12-story residential condominium building with 96 units. Costas Kondylis is the architect and 511 9th LLC, a partnership headed by Solly Assa, is the developer. A building that was part of the development site had recently been sold in an all-cash transaction valued at about $2,500,000
